Initially charge hold for 12 hours for a full charge. 
Hold can be charged by inserting the included 7 volt adaptor. 
Fully charged unit will operate continuously for approximately four weeks between charges. 
Lights are activated by pressing the red button on the front of the hold.
If cleaning, do not submerge the hold.
